Due to extreme peer pressure from the blogstalkers, as well as acquiring my own internet connection (thanks to my neighbor's handy brother!)....I have now given in and started my own blog! My life is probably not as exciting as those of you who have kids, and the stories won't be as funny, but I am going to make a good effort at this crazy thing. So yea for me! Here goes nothing.
On Wednesday, my mom picked me up to go on our vacation together. Just a few days to get away, relax and do some fun stuff. We had a room at The Homestead in Midway, which by the way is georgous. We played 18 holes of golf that afternoon which was really fun. Shannon, Adam and Collin came up and joined us for dinner in Heber and then we went swimming in the hotel pool.
Thursday morning we woke up early, got ready and packed up the car. We went to see my mom's property in Timber Lakes....boy is it pretty up there. We ate lunch, did a little shopping at the outlet stores in Park City, and left to drive to St. George. We had tickets to see "My Fair Lady" at the Tuachan Theater in Snow Canyon. The play was AWESOME. First of all, I love musical theater and one of my favs is My Fair Lady. Secondly, I love the outdoors. So you combine the two and BAM! A little slice of heaven.
We woke up early again this morning, got ready, packed up, had a good breakfast and it was off to Sunbrook golf course to play 9 holes. Mom and I played a scramble (for those of you who don't know what that is I will explain). Both players hit the ball, and then you pick who's ball is better and you play off of that. It's fun. Anyways, we ended up parring 4 holes and only shooting 8 over par! It was my best score ever, a 45! This is a huge improvement for me seeing as I have had a 68 on 9 holes for the last year. So after golf, we hit the TJ Maxx and More store for a little bit of shopping. We both got some cute stuff. I might take pictures of my finds and post them! After shopping we grabbed a sandwich and then started the drive home. My vacation was far too short, but a great one.

I love that you have a blog now Lindsay! What a fun vacation with your mom. I definitely want to see pictures of your finds! Isn't it great to spend time and shop with your mom?! My mom was here last week and we had a blast! It looks like you did the same with yours!
